My friend Ken is in a great band out in Colorado called Mama Lenny and the Remedy. Check them out, they are great.
When the band first formed I helped out in my free time doing some posters and logos and various other projects. Since then, they've gotten pretty popular and now have a legit graphic designer working with them. But my doodles were around in the beginning.
One of the first things I did was a logo creation. This was soon in the same general time frame as the Jerryfication project and I was still very much into my Rick Griffin stage. Below is a picture of the logo and a quick making-of video.
Next up was a concert poster. I came up with this idea for the singing microphone heads from the "Singing Sword" in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" I think the band really liked it, they used it for pins and other collateral over the next couple years.
